Port of lost wonder.

Singapore Sam hanging out at Port of Lost Wonder
This week, Linna and I headed back to Sentosa (tiny island about five minutes from Singapore) to spend a day at the Port of Lost Wonder. It's a new children's waterpark and kid's club by the beach!

We got to Sentosa via the Sentosa Express, which is an affordable option. For $3.50 you get a ride on the Sentosa Express, along with free admission to the island. Since we went on a weekday, the Port of Lost Wonder wasn't very busy, but there were still a decent number of kids and parents there having some fun in the sun. I can't imagine this place on the weekend! We found a little spot to park our belongings on "The Deck", and then Linna and I headed onto the Pirate Ship! There is so much to do in this water park for kids of all ages.

Sentosa Express.

Linna enjoyed saying "hi" to everyone on the Sentosa Express.

Linna and I spent most of our time in the splash pad area, where there's about an inch of water and lots of fun toys spraying water. It was HOT the day we went, so it was nice to have a place to keep cool! We went down a few water slides together, and did a little "swimming" in the kiddie pool area around the Pirate Ship. That ship is amazing, especially for the older kids! There were things to climb on, water cannons to spray other people with water, and water activity-tables for the smaller kids.

We ordered our lunch from the restaurant in the water park called Port Belly. It's the only restaurant in the Port of Lost Wonder and they have TONS of options for the adults and kids. Parents can enjoy a cocktail, while the kids enjoy a milkshake. I love that they give parents the options of choosing mixed vegetables for the kids, rather than just serving fries (although you can order fries too). Linna had the fish, mixed vegetables, and cut up apples. We also ordered a delicious freshly-squeezed carrot, apple, and orange juice. We just walked up to the counter, ordered and paid for our food, then walked back to our spot on "The Deck". The servers give you a flag with a number on it to put at your spot, and they bring the food right over to you. LOVED this, so I didn't have to lug my daughter back to our spot, while trying to juggle the food and drinks too!

Taking a lunch break on our little spot in the shade.

We will definitely be back, and hope AJ can join us, although it would have to be on a weekend and I imagine the weekends are PACKED with people visiting Sentosa. Admission to the Port of Lost Wonder is $8 during the week and $15 on the weekend. The best part is that accompanying parents get in FREE with a hug from their child (too cute)! This is one of our favorite spots on Sentosa and a must-visit if you're visiting the island. We just LOVE that it's affordable as well!

Wiped out after a long, hot, but FUN day!
